There's no place quite like Your Place and Ours.

Located in Groveland, Massachusetts, Your Place and Ours is a downhome, mom and pop shop serving all of the foods you love.    Owners Joel and Shannon Pecchi took over this longstanding business and kept the name and the same nostalgic comfort food favorites.

"Your Place and Ours is a family owned pizza shop where we make amazing food.

People know us they know that they can come in and get that type of food that you would eat at home spending hours cooking.  We make a lot of things from scratch  You can taste it when you get the food that we put a lot of effort into it that we put our our love into it  We have a love for cooking and it just you can feel it."

"Making everything from scratch we have more control over the product and we firmly believe that you know nothing's better than something you make yourself.  Buying something out of a box, as opposed to making it from scratch homemade the way way we grew up the way we learned how to cook."

To start off the ˜Your Place and Ours' experience, an appetizer is in order.      There are zinging jalapeno poppers stuffed with cream cheese, and their wildly famous chicken fingers.   Hand cut in house, breaded and fried fresh, these beauties can be ordered as is, or smothered in sauce.  And then there are the housemade mozzarella sticks.

"So the mozzarella sticks and jalapeno poppers are definitely unique to us. I mean, you can get mozzarella sticks anywhere, but for the most part, they're frozen. We get a block of mozzarella cheese, cut it into individual sticks bread it to order and then when it comes out of that fryer later you have the golden brown pull apart cheesy goodness."

And for a real show stopper, try a fry box.

"When you order a fry box, you're definitely having a party and you want some good food, you know that everybody is going to want to eat around. We go up to an eight piece fry box we do a five piece five box and we sell them all individually to if you just want to get one for yourself.”

“Everybody loves fries. But when you put homemade fried chicken and bacon on top and you cover it in in sauces, there's no question. It's the best way to eat a fry."

Something every first timer needs to try here are the famous Y-P-A-O Potatoes- whether you opt for the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, or the zippy Buffalo Chicken.

"So every morning we bake, we bake off our potatoes .we will take one of those potatoes, we split it in half. We batter it. We're going to cook some chicken fingers and some bacon. We're gonna chop all that up. We're going to mix it with our homemade buffalo sauce and a little bit of Saratoga blue cheese dressing  like a nice stuffing. Get it on the top of the potato, cover it and cheese and then we're gonna put it on a plate, put it in the oven and bake it until the cheese gets golden brown."

"When you get that first bite you get that creaminess of a baked potato mixed with the chopped up chicken and bacon, the buffalo sauce, the blue cheese, it all just blends together so well you have that little kick of spiciness to it but the blue cheese mellows it out and it just makes it a cheesy goodness."

There are sandwiches like the Valley Chicken, smothered in homemade chipotle, caramelized onions, American cheese and bacon on a bulky roll.  Or try the Sweet Baby Burger topped with bbq sauce, hand breaded onion rings, bacon, and cheese. And for the ultimate handheld, get the Fireside Fried Burger. Yes, you heard right a fried burger.

"So our fireside burger is one of our Angus patties. It comes with banana peppers and mushrooms, grilled bacon, lettuce and pickles.  We cover it in our homemade fireside sauce, we wrap it up in a tortilla and we deep fry it. It adds another layer to the flavor. It adds the crunch on the outside and bring it just brings it all together. It's really really good when you deep fry the burgers."

It's also really good when you order one their popular pizzas, like the Buffalo Chicken Supreme, or the sweet and salty Samoan topped with pineapple, pepperoni, honey chipotle and bbq sauce.

"You get that sweetness from the pineapple on it and pepperoni  gives you that little bit of a kick and then top it with the honey Chipotle a barbecue and it really just makes it."
