La Storia
Atmosphere(8)
This particular restaurant has undergone numerous conversions and the present owners were limited in terms of renovations. Atmosphere is pleasant overall though.
Menu(9)
Wide variety of choices including traditional pasta servings, pizza, char-grilled dishes and house specialties.
Portions(10)
The portions are so large that you actually receive enough food for dinner tomorrow.
Appetizers(10)
Pollo fritta and mussels pomodoro were meals in themselves. outrageous portions yet delectable.
Food and Drink(9)
Lobster ravioli with shrimp was excellent. Frutti di Mare- which included scallops, clams, mussels, haddock, and tuna was scrumptious; very light but filling.
Desserts(6)
Tiramasu was adequate and limited offerings for other listed desserts.
Service(9)
Good service, provided by the host-owner Janet, our waitress and another staff member who bussed tables.
Cleanliness(8)
Bathroom was spotless, but unisex. General serving areas were clean. But we noticed some crumbs on the floor and walls appeared weathered.
Parking(8)
Easy to find- across from the renowned Alex's on Rt. 138. Parking is adequate.
Value(9)
Value was reasonable, entrees ranging from $16.95 to $13.95. We had two appetizers, entrees, drinks, and one dessert and coffee for under $50.
