Buddy’s Truck Stop

A diner built right into a real 1930's style railroad dining car, Buddy's Truck
Stop is a Somerville, Massachusetts landmark. And since 1966, present owner
John Barrett has been in the business of frying up dinner delights.

"I've been here the last 28 years. This is a very family oriented business. I work here with my brother and my sister and my wonderful wife Sue. She's the backbone of this restaurant. And we work very hard to keep this going and now we're going into our third generation where my children are coming into the business."

Always grilled to perfection, the corned beef hash is a legend and the eggs are always fried just right. In the timeless traditional of classic diner cuisine, Buddy's Truck Stop keeps the customers coming back to start their day ... every week, every year, and with every new generation.

"We're also known for our homemade meatloaf and our family style dinners for lunchtime. And just recently we've gone into seafood and it's been very successful we're family happy with that. We try to cater to the family especially on the weekends."
