Bayberry’s
If you're looking for that extra romantic place for Valentine's Day that is fairly priced, try the cozy log cabin in the Cape called Bayberry's.
Atmosphere(9)
Rustic log cabin with nostalgic decorations. Booth seating makes dinners very cozy and private.
Menu(8)
Solid selection of everything, although appetizers sort of generic with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and nachos. Pizzas, subs, pastas, and burgers all available. Phantom loves any place with Jumbo Chili Dogs.
Portions(8)
Subs are oversized, family sized pizzas are enough for 4. Soups and appetizers could have been larger.
Appetizers(7)
Buffalo wings excellent, but a little too crunchy for Phantom's taste. French onion soup was wonderful with plenty of onions and a ridiculous amount of cheese..you know what the Phantom says, "you can never have enough cheese!"
Food and Drink(6)
Meatloaf was ample, but no much of a taste to the gravy. Chicken tortilla was a disappointment, with flavorless chicken and salsa.
Desserts(8)
Homemade strawberry shortcake is the best the phantom has ever eaten. Toll house cookie sundae was as tasty as it was fattening.
Service(8)
Very prompt and friendly. However, Phantom hates when a waiter brings his entree before he has finished his appetizer.
Cleanliness(9)
Immaculate, including bathrooms. Very impressive since Phantom ate right after Sunday morning breakfast rush.
Parking(9)
Located in South Sandwich, near shopping areas, plenty of parking.
Value(7)
Lunch entrees are generally in the $6 dollar range. Good portions, but not all items are good.
