Concorde Restaurant
If you hate airline food, and everyone does, you may want to grab a bite to eat before your flight out of Bradly International Airport at the Concorde Restaurant in the airport Sheraton.
Atmosphere(7)
Tries to satisfy the business traveler with a casual elegance. A good spot for people watching, but there's too many to watch.
Menu(8)
As well-balanced as the Phantom's bathroom scale. 5 seafood dishes, a handful of pasta, streaks, chicken, a pair of "vegetarian delights."
Portions(7.5)
Entrees come in a touch bigger than average, but the appetizers are a bit puny.
Appetizers(7)
Smoked salmon ravioli quite pleasing. The clam chowder was better than the French onion soup, which was high on the cheese but low on onions and taste.
Food and Drink(7.5)
Nothing ground-breaking here. Very light and lemony "Sole Francaise" worked very well. The Veal Tivoli was very flavorful, but sat on an unremarkable bed of pasta.
Desserts(8)
Baked Alaska was promised on the menu, but was a no show. Very good carrot cake and apple crisp stood in quite well.
Service(8)
Competent wait staff that are friendly to the point of chatty. But you need to be that way when you're dealing with tired and cranky travelers.
Cleanliness(7)
Good marks in the dining room, but the bathrooms off the lobby were far from spic and span.
Parking(9)
The perfect location for travelers and guests at the hotel. Validated parking, up to three hours, is available on-site.
Value(7)
Appetizers run from $6 to $9. Entrees around $18 or $19. They could stand to knock a few bucks off of everything.
