Tucker’s
When “good eats” are made with love by “great people”
You know you’re in for a great meal.
And you can have all that and more at Tucker’s.
With five locations across New Hampshire, including this one in Merrimack, Tucker’s is a breakfast and lunch spot with big plates of all of your favorites and two very happy owners.
Hale and Erica Cole-Tucker are the fun loving duo behind Tucker’s…where they pride themselves on always providing service with a smile.
“We have a lot of fun while we’re at work and we want people to come in and feel that vibe and that positive energy when they came in. You have to be happy to work here….We just have a lot of fun and we want people to come walk in the door and just feel that energy when they when they get here.”
“We’ve had a lot of customers comments on that just said it’s just a great vibe. I don’t know what it is. But it just it feels good coming here to eat.
And while working with your spouse is not for everybody, these two very much enjoy it.
He’s so much fun to work with. I think a lot of people say they do not want to work with their significant others….but he’s a pretty fun guy so I love it.
We have very different roles. And we’ve always kind of balanced each other out. She’s unbelievable out front with the customers but she can’t cook so.
The breakfast menu at Tucker’s offers many great ways to start your day….
Like this Irish spin on eggs Benedict topped with homemade corned beef….
And the= oversized Mexicali burrito.
“Oh, it’ so good. Every time someone gets one, I go over and I go oooh you got the burrito? We wanted to pack a burrito for everything that you could possibly want in Mexican inspired breakfast. So it has eggs….house braised chicken. It has a corn salsa, refried black beans. It has poblano salsa and then we roll it up and we top it with this queso fresco….Which is just takes it over the top. …it’s absolutely a serious meal.
There are sweet treats like the Banana Bread French Toast.
“So the banana french toast, we have fresh baked banana bread. And then it’s dipped in French toast batter and then it’s topped with candied walnuts and bananas and whipped cream and it’s so good. Everybody loves banana bread. That’s an old school favorite. And then taking it into putting it French toast just makes it that much better.”
Or you can get your day started with a sugar rush when you order the Cronut French Toast.
“So a cronut is a delicious combination. It’s like a croissant meets a doughnut. So you get the airiness of a croissant meets the sweet and just awesomeness of a doughnut.”
There are massive omelets loaded up with smoked bacon, sausage, ham, vegetables and cheese.
And a breakfast sandwich that will keep you full for the entire day.
“It’s the ultimate breakfast sandwich. It’s everything you love about breakfast, get your potatoes, your breakfast meat and the Canadian bacon and eggs and some incredible locally baked bread. And it’s one of our biggest sellers still to this day.”
“It’s like you’re you’ve got that breakfast in front of you. And you’re getting all of it in the perfect bite. You know when you get classic breakfast and you try and take the toast and put everything on top of it. Tell us what we do the work for you.”
The biscuits and gravy will please your palate and features house made biscuits with an ultra peppery sauce. And if you ask Erica, she’ll always recommend the Sedona Skillet.
“The Sedona skill is scrambled eggs with cheese and picante peppers and onions and then it’s topped with guacamole and chipotle aioli, and then it’s on a bit of hashbrowns and if you get them crispy, it’s even better. It’s amazing. I get it almost every day.”
At lunch you can feast on sandwiches like the West Coast Club, piled high with roasted turkey, smoked bacon, melted Cheddar, with a creamy avocado spread, on toasted sourdough….
And an extraordinary Reuben.
“I love Reuben, one of my favorite sandwich. It’s got this incredible crunch when you bite into it. Amazing flavor and just amazing freshness. It’s so good, is actually one of my favorite things that we have here.”
The lunch menu also offers classics like the Cobb Salad.
And for something healthy but a bit more filling, get a Pesto Bowl.
“What’s great about bowls is that if you’re bored eating salads you can have a bowl. There are a lot heartier. You can put a lot more ingredients in and they’re really filling. And most of the time you can bring some home for dinner.
And not matter which of the five Tucker’s locations you dine at, you’re going to be going to leave with a full stomach and a full heart.
“I think from beginning to end. We try to take care of everyone and have it be something worth coming back to giving and say about that.”
