The Border Cafe is a fun place to have drinks with its extensive bar and legendary margaritas. The atmosphere is Mexican right down to the Spanish newspapers in the bathroom. The food, however, did not have the Phantom dancing circles around his sombrero.

Characterized by its hot pepper trim, Chilis is a cutesy saloon style chain. They carry their Lone Star state theme well, but the standard American menu is nothing to hoop and holler about.
