Panini are Italian grilled sandwiches. In the North End, the best panini is at Artu. Their Pork panini, or porketto, is beautiful in its simplicity. Slow roasted pork is served on rustic Tuscan bread and topped with marinated eggplant. Wash this down with a refreshing pinot Grigio or a smooth sangiovese and for a short spell, it’s like being in Italy.
