Grab a slice... Take a bite... And experience pizza and sandwiches like you've never tasted before. Welcome to Dough in East Boston, where they definitely have a passion for pizza.

Kevin Curley - Co-Owner, Dough: "Where's the love? It's on the pizza."

With a name like Dough, the pizza better be great, and these pies do not disappoint. From hand stretched dough... to rich chunky sauce... and big slices of cheese... these are made to please. Mix in some innovative toppings and Dough rises to the next level of deliciousness.

The Hawaiian pizza blends prosciutto and pineapple with toasted coconut...
And the Chicken Caesar pizza is a culinary match makers dream.
But the best of the bunch is The Orchard, a surprisingly addictive combination of chicken, bacon, onions, and apples!

Kevin Curley - Co-Owner, Dough: "So when you take a bite of that you hit the caramelized onions, go to the bacon, hit the chicken, and then hit the apple, and it's literally exploding in your mouth."

On the sandwich side of the menu…
The Cajun Chicken Cheese Steak is a gooey bomb of blackened chicken and roasted red peppers...
The Cuban is pressed to melted perfection...
The Gobbler makes a mountain of Thanksgiving Day flavors...
The Reuben Burger marries the deli classic to the fast food favorite...
And the Grilled Cheese is an adults only treat, loaded with so much Swiss, Mozzarella, Provolone, and Cheddar that it has to be finished in the oven to achieve maximum meltage.

Michael Sanchez - Co-Owner, Dough: "This is a sandwich that's probably about two inches thick, oozing with cheese. As soon as you cut it, you got to get it out of here, because the cheese is just all over the place. But it's absolutely delicious."

Everything at Dough is made to order, so some sandwiches take a couple extra minutes to create. Then there's the Vermonter, a masterpiece requiring such sandwich artistry that it actually comes with a disclaimer, printed right on the menu.

Michael Sanchez - Co-Owner, Dough: "Due to the greatness of this sandwich, please allow ten minutes for construction."

The Vermonter starts with two extra thick slices of Multigrain bread that are smeared with sun dried tomato mayo... then piled high with maple turkey... chopped bacon... red onion... sliced green apples... and smoked gouda. After about four minutes in the oven, take one taste and you'll agree it's definitely worth the wait.

Kevin Curley - Co-Owner, Dough: "Every bite you catch a piece of turkey, an apple, a bacon, and then hit the sun dried tomato mayo, it actually just sends you all over the place… It's pretty crazy."

For great pizza and greater sandwiches, you'd be crazy not to go, to Dough, a Phantom Gourmet... Hidden Jewel.
